All of our verified Freelancer+ members are required to provide work experience references that are carefully vetted by our The EventWork team.
Our match system works hard to provide executive and brands with a list of profiles for event freelancers that suit their needs. The company will get to know prospective candidates and share scope of work through our direct messenger platform.

At The EventWork, you are your own boss. Once you accept a job through our platform, you’ll be introduced to your new client and have the freedom to take things offline to start making magic happen. That means you get to handle your own invoicing, rates and payment methods directly with your clients. No messy transaction charges.
None! We take no commision fees. You have the freedom to use your own invoicing system with the method that works best for you. That’s part of what makes The EventWork so awesome.
The EventWork offers the opportunity for freelance event professionals to rank higher within our system’s match results by upgrading to The Freelancer+ package. This allows us to vet through qualifications and work experience, ranking you as a verified freelancer for brands and executive looking to hire.
We all love a little praise. If you are Freelancer+, we will add your testimonials from past clients and projects to your profile that are submitted during the vetting process. For both Freelancer & Freelancer+, simply request feedback from completed events booked on The EventWork.
Your calendar will default to “Full-Time or “Part-Time” availability based on your selection. The “Part-Time” feature allows you to take on multiple projects that don’t require full-time availability.
Absolutely. Any time you’d like to hide your profile within search results, simply set your calendar availability to “unavailable” within your dashboard.
It is to your benefit to book within the platform. The SOW that is housed on the platform serves as a legal document between you and the company hiring you. In addition, the more testimonials and ratings you have the more jobs you will book! So don't be afraid to reply and say that you would prefer to keep all correspondence on the platform. After all you are your own Boss!
In order to be verified as a freelancer+, you will need to provide three references from your past work experience. For each reference, a short description of the work that was preformed is required. You may also include a testimonial from that reference that will display on your public profile once approval has been processed. This will give you a leg up and is an added benefit of being a Freelancer+. All other testimonials will only be added to your profile once a job is completed on the platform. So be sure to get some praise and share it with us!

You may have hit your limit of messages allowed in the package you purchased. If you have not found the right candidate for your job please contact us to inquire about more messages.
Absolutely. Any time you’d like to hide your profile within search results, simply set your calendar availability to “unavailable” within your dashboard. If you are on a project for an extended length of time you may go to your dashboard subscription and hide your profile until you are available again.

You will receive email notifications for opportunities that match your skillset, rate and availability. Additionally, all opportunities that you are a match for will show in the "job board" section located in your dashboard.

No, only opportunities that match your skillset, rate and availability will show on your dashboard under the browse tab.

Click on the job board posting and hit apply, it is that easy!
